Rethinking Lampedusa is an artistic research collective, active for three years on the island of Lampedusa, comprising faculty and researchers from the Made Program.
Recently exhibited at the Biennale in Malta, it offers a sound meditation to explore Sicily’s unique qualities as a place of otherness: one meditation focuses on Lampedusa, and another on Sicily as a spiritual realm. Guided zazen meditations, accompanied by music and song, lead participants towards a Mediterranean spirituality ripe for exploration.
Open to all, from novices to experts.
