For four days, the Ocean Viking ship was docked at the port of Syracuse and open to the public, thanks to the initiative promoted by SOS MEDITERRANEE. Students from MADE also participated with great attention and engagement, experiencing an intense and deeply formative experience.

On board, we symbolically explored the places of sea rescue: from the lookout deck to the medical clinic, from the rescue equipment to the spaces for welcoming survivors. We listened to stories, witnessed firsthand the humanity and determination of those who, every day, brave the sea and indifference to save lives.
Thanks to @sosmediterranee for welcoming us and for the courageous work they carry out in the Central Mediterranean, 12 months a year.
